Billy Larkins
Offensive Coordinator & Sports Performance LaRoche University Men’s Lacrosse
Billy Larkins is the Owner of Larkins Sports Performance. Previously Billy was a member of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex where he was the Director of Sports Performance. Prior to coming to the Penguins, he was at the University of Maine where he was a Sports Performance Coach for Hockey, Baseball, Softball, Football as well as a full-time member of the Women’s Ice Hockey Coaching staff. Under his training, the Women’s Ice Hockey program set records for wins, playoff victories, and playoff series victory. He is accompanied in his move to the area, by his wife Mandy and their five children: Maverick (8) Billy (7) Bear (5) Murphy (4) and Marley (2). If I had to guess, by the time you’re reading this, there’s a 6th.
Billy has made a name for himself, over the last years 15 years nationally, in the area of high-performance training with professional (MLB, NHL, NFL), amateur athletes, tactical/ military training, injury rehabilitation, and weight loss.
Prior to arriving at Maine, Coach Larkins co-owned and operated Performance Facilities, with locations in the greater Chicagoland area. As Owner/director of Sports Performance, he programmed and implemented strength and conditioning programs, speed and agility protocols, nutritional assessment for clients ranging from DEA agents and Olympic athletes to prenatal and post-operation patrons.
Billy has assisted athletes in receiving division 1 scholarships in the following sports: Men & Women Hockey, Field Hockey, Men and Women’s Basketball, Football, Men and Women’s Lacrosse, Men and Women’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball, Gymnastics, Baseball, Softball, Crew.

Sports Performance LaRoche University Men’s Lacrosse
Bennett has been with Larkins Sports Performance for three years and at both the Wexford and Cranberry locations.
In that time he’s worked with countless athletes, here are a few of the sports they trained for:
-Soccer
-Lacrosse
-Football
-Boxing
-Basketball
-Volleyball
In addition to running the Cranberry facility, Coach Bennett will be joining the Sports performance staff for Men’s Lacrosse, at Laroche University.
He has a passion for both strength training and training MMA. His favorite fighter is Connor McGregor, and the Steelers are his day 1.
His constant energy and good vibes are a staple at the facility, if you see him, be sure to give him a pound and a thank you. ##

Richard Reichenbach
LSP Hockey & Lacrosse Director
New Head Coach LaRoche University Men’s Lacrosse
Richard Reichenbach joins Larkins Sports Performance as the hockey and lacrosse director. He brings 22 years of coaching experience including 12 years working in Division 1 hockey.
Most recently, Richard served for 8 seasons at the University of Maine as the Head Coach of the Women’s Ice Hockey Team. He guided Maine to Hockey East semifinals four of his last five years. In addition, he developed and coached numerous Hockey East all-stars and national team players from Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Latvia, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Italy and Sweden. This also included 5 players who played in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Richard guided the University of Maine Black Bears to their best season in program history and won the Hockey East Coach of the Year and New England Coach of the Year. Maine finished the year with a school record in wins, earning the No. 3 seed in the Women's Hockey East (WHEA) Playoffs and making to the semi-finals for the first time in program history.
Prior to the University at Maine, Richard served as an Assistant Coach at the State University of New York at Cortland. His additional experience includes working as a Hockey and Lacrosse Specialist and Strength Coach at Bluestreak Sports Training in Stamford Connecticut. He coached High School Lacrosse and Hockey at the High School level while teaching History for two years as well.
He played both lacrosse and hockey at Hamilton college for four years and played pro hockey for the Richmond Renegades
Reichenbach, a native of Baldwinsville, New York and a graduate of Hamilton College. He earned a Sports Management Master’s degree from the State University of New York at Cortland.
Richard moved to the area with his wife Sara who is a Mental Skills Performance Coach and their three children, Mia, Ty and Noah.
